It is also called cinnamon leaf.

The scent of Indian laurel is very different from European laurel, with a flavor between cinnamon and cloves. It is actually not the same tree at all since the Indian laurel is actually from the cinnamon family.

Even though it doesn't have much in common with European bay leaf, it will work the same and make your dishes incredibly tasty.

Ideal for stew, rabbit, simmered meats, to place inside chicken, in fish in foil, but also for vegetable dishes, in polenta, in rice water and much more in according to your imagination.

Noble laurel is notably analgesic, antibacterial, antiviral and fungicidal. Its expectorant properties promote the expulsion and elimination of mucus. when taken as an infusion (like a tea).

Noble bay leaves are used externally for their stimulating and soothing effect. To be used in the form of a poultice in cases of rheumatism, aches and joint pain.
