Rich in B vitamins, vitamin E and vitamin K, cashew also contains minerals and plant proteins. It is an oleaginous fruit with a high content of fatty acids, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated lipids. Cashew nuts therefore provide essential benefits to the body, provided they are consumed in reasonable quantities. Along with pecans, it is one of the most caloric nuts.

Rich in minerals essential for health, such as magnesium, cashew is perfect for preventing fatigue. Other minerals and trace elements essential for good health, such as copper, phosphorus, iron and manganese, make the cashew nut an exceptional health asset. The iron in cashew helps fight anemia.

Among them is vitamin B1, also called thiamine. If you are sporty, this vitamin is fundamental. It optimizes efforts by providing energy to your muscles.
Anti-cholesterol oilseed fruits

Despite its rich fat content, cashew helps regulate cholesterol levels and type 2 diabetes. Like many nuts, it contains lipids consisting mainly of unsaturated fatty acids. They are to be preferred, unlike saturated fatty acids. Several studies have shown that the latter, by increasing cholesterol levels, have an effect on the risk of heart disease.

To maintain good cardiovascular health, it is therefore essential to consume oilseed fruits such as cashew nuts. This means you limit foods high in saturated fat.

Thanks to minerals like selenium and copper, as well as vitamin E, cashew fruit is rich in antioxidants. These contribute to the protection of the body's cells. In fact, they fight oxidative stress which is the cause of many diseases linked to aging.

However, some precautions should be taken with this nut. Cashew nuts should not be consumed before the age of five. If you are allergic to nuts, consuming cashew nuts should be avoided. These types of allergies can have negative consequences on your health. In the event of a significant reaction after consuming cashews or other nuts, it will be essential to consult an allergist.
